Команда Центр гідності дитини УКУ підготувала інтерв’ю з практичними порадами про те, як впровадити програму «ГОВОРИ» у школах, організаціях та громадах. На прикладі Львів, де проєкт уже успішно працює, експерти пояснюють, з чого почати впровадження, як зробити його комфортним для дітей і колективу та що допомагає перетворити безпеку дитини на системну практику.

Важливо не лише для Церкви, а й для всього суспільства: як сейфгардинг-проєкт Центру гідності дитини презентували в Угорщині

В Угорщині 20 лютого відбулась презентація проєкту «Safeguarding. Безпека дитини в середовищі Церкви». Це стало можливо завдяки співпраці Центру гідності дитини УКУ та ініціативи «Human Dignity Strategy» Богословського коледжу Sapientia, що працюють у сфері превенції насилля в католицькому середовищі своїх країн. Угорщина стала сьомою країною в географії проєкту.

The UCU Child Dignity Center celebrated five years of its work among friends

On January 21, the Child Dignity Center of the Ukrainian Catholic University celebrated its 5th anniversary. On this occasion, a gathering was held with partners and colleagues. Under one roof, we managed to bring together over fifty of our friends: representatives from the church, education, civil society, and medical sectors, as well as government institutions.

Children’s Safety as a Shared Responsibility of the Church: Presentation of a Project by the Child Dignity Center of UCU in the Czech Republic

Prague has become another point on the map of the Center’s international project: on January 21, the exhibition “Recognize. Respond” was opened here, and the Czech version of the online course “Safeguarding: Child Safety in the Church Environment” was presented. Thus, the Czech Republic became the sixth country to join the initiative, following Ukraine, Poland, Slovakia, Germany, and Slovenia.

From Lviv to All of Ukraine: The “SPEAK UP” Program Helps Communities Build Safe Spaces for Children

The Child Dignity Center of UCU is launching the “SPEAK UP” educational program for communities, schools, and civil society across Ukraine. After a successful pilot in the Lviv community, the team is making the program publicly available so that any institution working with children can implement a modern and effective system for their protection.

Summary of the “SPEAK UP” Marathon for High School Students

The team of the UCU Child Dignity Center, within the framework of the “SPEAK UP” project, announced a marathon for high school students. Its goal was to create short videos on the topics of safety, personal boundaries, and bullying, and to share them on social media. On December 8, the authors of the best videos were awarded, and the results of the marathon were summarized.

The UCU Child Dignity Center’s International Project Presented in Slovenia

The presentation of the project “Safeguarding: Child Safety in Church Environments” took place in Ljubljana on November 18, on the World Day for the Prevention and Healing of Sexual Exploitation, Violence, and Abuse Against Children. The project’s reach is expanding — after Ukraine, Poland, Slovakia, and Germany, Slovenia became the fifth country where the UCU Child Dignity Center team presented it.

Building a Culture of Safeguarding: The First Joint Training of the Child Dignity Center UCU and the UGCC Safeguarding Office

On November 14, a meeting of delegates responsible for receiving reports of violence in the eparchies, exarchates, and monastic communities of the UGCC took place at the Patriarchal House. The aim of the event was to deepen knowledge, exchange experiences, and identify priorities for further work in the field of safeguarding.

Проєкт «ГОВОРИ» – система захисту від булінгу та насильства, яка впроваджує правила і стандарти безпеки, а також навчає дітей і дорослих у різних сферах як діяти у складних ситуаціях. Проєкт цієї осені стартує у львівських школах. У майбутньому ініціатива охопить різні сфери, у яких працюють з дітьми: спорт, охорона здоровʼя, транспорт, культура тощо.

22-24 вересня 14 громадських організацій, які працюють із дітьми, мали триденне навчання на сертифікатний програмі «Формування безпечного середовища для дітей. Безпекова політика в організації», яке організував Центр гідності дитини УКУ у партнерстві із Ресурсним центром для НУО (NGORC).
