On March 26, an online training took place for the Sisters of the Servants of the Immaculate Virgin Mary of the Province of Saint Joseph and priests of the Diocese of Saint Nicholas in Serbia, organized by the Child Dignity Center at UCU. Bishop Yuriy Dzhudzhar also joined the formation.

On March 17, our partners in Poland, the Saint Joseph Foundation, held a webinar for teachers titled "SAFEGUARDING – Prevention Through Art." The participants included the co-authors of the course "SAFEGUARDING. Child Safety in the Church Environment," Ivanka Rudakevych and sister Agnieszka Jarkowska.

From February 24 to 26, the Child Dignity Center of UCU held training as part of the certification program "Creating a Safe Environment for Children. Safety Policy in Organizations." The participants included representatives from 17 member organizations of the Ukrainian Network for Children's Rights (UMPD) and the secretariat.

This decision was approved by the Resolution of the Ninety-Ninth Session of the Synod of Bishops of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in Ukraine, which took place from February 5-7. The newly established Bureau will be responsible for coordinating the protection of children from violence.

On February 6-7, the Child Dignity Center of the Ukrainian Catholic University held a second-level formation school titled "Creating a Safe Environment for the Child" for clergy, consecrated persons, and heads of relevant diocesan commissions. The goal of this school was to explore the tools for preventing violence and how to apply them in the church environment.

From January 22 to 24, 25 participants from public organizations in Odesa, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Kryvyi Rih attended a three-day training as part of the certification program "Creating a Safe Environment for Children. Safeguarding Officer in an Organization." The training was organized by the Child Dignity Center of the Ukrainian Catholic University in partnership with the NGO Resource Center (NGORC).

On January 22 and 29, Ivanka Rudakevych, the head of projects and programs at the Child Dignity Center, delivered a lecture titled "Creating a Safe Environment for Minors and Vulnerable Individuals." The audience consisted of students from the "Catechetical Ministry and Evangelization" and "Family Counseling" programs at the Saint Thomas Aquinas Institute of Religious Sciences in Kyiv.

On December 13, Ivanka Rudakevych, Head of Projects and Programs at the Child Dignity Center, delivered a lecture for participants of the "Christian Tradition for the Modern World" program at the Philosophy and Theology Faculty of UCU.

The Child Dignity Center of UCU organized a meeting for delegates responsible for safeguarding in the dioceses and representatives of the diocesan teams for the protection of minors of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.

Schoolchildren and students of Lviv region learned to recognize violence and respond appropriately to its signs from an expert of the Child Dignity Center of UCU.

On December 5, the Child Dignity Centre of the Ukrainian Catholic University conducted a training for school principals, directors, and consultants of centers for professional development of teaching staff on the prevention of violence against children.

The 'City for the Child' project aims to create a safe environment and prevent potential risks of abuse against children. It is being implemented by the Child's Dignity Center of the Ukrainian Catholic University in collaboration with various departments of the Lviv City Council. Students of the Ukrainian Catholic University will also be involved in the project.
