Students of the Saint Thomas Aquinas Institute of Religious Sciences learned how to ensure the safety of children.

Ivanka Rudakevych explained who safe adults are, the different types of abuse, and its impact on a child's future life, as well as the signs that indicate a child may be suffering from harm. She also discussed how to prevent risky situations, how to listen to a child without further traumatizing them.

The results of the research "Sexual Abuse in Ukraine: From Awareness to Protection" (2021) were discussed, along with the factors that prevent reporting cases of abuse.
