Networking event for primary care physicians held in Dnipro
On October 12, the UCU Center for Child Dignity held a meeting of primary care physicians with child abuse referral services entitled "Implementation of an algorithm for the interaction of helping services with primary care in the management of victims of sexual abuse" in Dnipro.
The purpose of the networking was to establish cooperation between primary care physicians and institutions that record, investigate, and support victims of sexual crimes.
The event was attended by representatives of the prosecutor's office, the children's service, NGOs, psychologists and doctors. In particular:
- Anna Tartynskykh: Head of the psychological department of the NGO Martin Club
- Anastasia Tyshchenko: Director of the City Center for Social Services
- Dmytro Hrytsiuk: Project manager of 100 Life Dnipro
- Olena Lemeshko: Doctor at Valeo Diagnostics, trainer of the mhGAP program
In total, 45 doctors and medical directors of primary health care centers from Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia took part in the event.
During the networking event, a presentation of the training course and the results of its implementation was held, as well as a discussion of the problems that exist today in the registration and support of victims of sexual violence.
The next event will be held in Kyiv on October 24!
