What is this course about?

The training includes theoretical experience and practical cases in combating violence against children. The lecturers will help participants understand the concept of safety and its main principles. Working with psychologists will allow the course’s participants to return to childhood and learn about the child’s boundaries and how to observe them.

As part of the training, you will also learn about red flags that can help you recognise a possible offender and signs that a child has been abused. Lecturers will introduce you to the mechanisms for preventing violence on the Internet and explain why a safety policy document and sex education are crucial in creating a safe environment.

6 modules include 17 video lectures conducted by experienced psychology, psychiatry, and pedagogy lecturers. Also, participants will get access to helpful reference books and guides. The course contains a relevant additional section, “Childhood and War”, as well as unique interviews with education, church, and healthcare experts.
