Online course "Children's Voices"
"We created the "Voices of Children" course so that professionals could find additional useful information about children's rights. Now, during war, it becomes obvious that there are situations that we don't know how to respond to. For example, how to adapt a child to a new place of residence, in wartime circumstances. Reality has changed — and approaches to working with children must also change. From an early age, it is necessary to educate a child to understand that he has his own boundaries and his own opinion," said Olena Rozvadovska, head of the board of the "Voices of Children" foundation.
In the course you can learn:
- on the main principles of the main document of the United Nations Organization on the rights of the child;
- what is "child-friendly education" and why is it important;
- on the development of partnership pedagogy, improvement of emotional well-being and legal protection of participants in the educational process.
- how to create a systematic approach to guaranteeing the rights of the child;
- about the main characteristics of a psychologically safe educational environment;
- how teachers can detect signs of child abuse, how to react and where to turn;
- tasks of a practical psychologist of an educational institution and a social pedagogue;
- the responsibility of heads of institutions and teachers for organizing anti-bullying work or investigating cases of bullying;
