What is this opportunity about?

The UCU Child Dignity Center aims to prevent violence among all stakeholders working with children. Education is one of the key stakeholders, for educators spend almost as much time with children as parents. Therefore, educators have to provide a safe environment for children.

Developing and enforcing safety policies is one of the best ways to prevent violence. Security policies are a document adopted at the level of the organisation, which initiates and supports the mechanism of ensuring safety for minors and vulnerable persons. It helps identify the risks and see how they can be managed through safe hiring processes, basic norms of behaviour and an algorithm for responding to their violations. It also determines ways of introducing these mechanisms into the institution’s life.
