“Sexual crimes as a new challenge for family doctors in times of martial law” (WEBINAR)
Representatives of the Academy of the National Health Service and practising doctors will tell the webinar participants about what a family doctor should know when identifying a victim of sexual violence, communication with victims and self-care. The video discusses the topic’s relevance to family doctors, obvious and subtle signs of violence, and the basic communication rules when dealing with cases of sexual violence.
Also, the speakers will share information about the course of the Academy of the National Health Service, “Monitoring and Management of Cases of Sexual Violence in Different Age Categories in the Practice of Family Doctors”, which will help healthcare specialists to:
- Acquire basic knowledge about obvious and subtle medical and psychological signs of experienced violence
- Deepen their knowledge of monitoring the psychological and physical condition of victims of sexual violence at different ages
- Master the tools for detecting, supporting and managing such cases at the primary care level
