“Writing security policy document” (WORKSHOP)

What is this opportunity about?

Safety policies are a document adopted at the organisation level, initiating and supporting the mechanism of creating safety for minors and vulnerable persons among the organisation’s participants. It helps identify the risks and see how they can be managed through safe hiring processes, basic norms of behaviour and an algorithm for responding to their violations. It also determines how these mechanisms are introduced into the organisation’s life.

During the two-day workshop, we will teach your organisation how to create a security policy document and provide support via further consultations.

Here you can familiarise yourself with an example of the policy of the “Pro.Pro.Lab” NGO developed during the workshop. The Ukrainian Educational Platform, Care in Action, Initiatives Platform “Teplytsia”, Plast Lviv, were helped in designing the document.

This workshop is designed for:

Organisations, congregations, and communities working with children. We invite 3-5 or more participants per organisation who are well-versed in activities with children at various levels. In particular, those responsible for creating a safe environment for children.
